A rare opportunity to acquire a box version of the Lambretta Li 175 Series 2 model. This model features suicide doors, single headlight and 8" wheels. She is 99.9% complete and would make an excellent restoration project and investment.

This Lambro was imported from Italy a few years ago and we had her earmarked for restoration but due to workshop space and time we have decided to rehome her. It has a 175cc engine which turns and original closed box. The paintwork, as you can see from the pictures is not original and quite tatty. The cabin itself looks to be in mostly rot free condition as are the floor plates. The box has had some unsympathetic repair and welding at some point it its life. These boxes have a wooden tongue and groove floor with a steel sheet mounted on top inside. It is very common for the wood to retain water and rot the bottom 1/3 of the box away which is one of the reasons for their rarity. It will require some expert attention to repair properly.

In theory, you could recommission this Lambro but it would benefit best from a full restoration to preserve such a rare model. We can provide you with the necessary parts on your journey or point you in the right direction for any we do not hold in stock.

She is not currently UK registered but has been NOVA'd. We are very happy to guide you through the registration process when you are ready.
